My students come into my classroom at all different levels in reading. The hardest part is having enough books at various levels that all students are successful and always have a book on hand. Chapter books are always the "must" thing to have; however, my students just are not ready for them and can become frustrated. These beginning level chapter books will allow my struggling students to feel the success of opening a chapter books without the frustration of not understanding what they are reading. These books will build their self-confidence and create, and foster a life long love of reading.
