My principal has been tremendously supportive of arts education, and is always looking for ways to reach more kids. One way to reach more kids would be to offer a class in digital piano. Students who may not want to sing in chorus, or play in the band, might be interested in all the capabilities of the digital keyboard. In class piano they can learn both individual and group performance skills. I simply need the start-up funds to purchase keyboards for my students. Students frequently ask me if I give lessons after school, and I say to them, "We're trying to purchase a piano lab so you can take piano lessons at school!" Help make these kids' piano dreams come true.
