Having my project funded would help me start off the year with a smooth running second grade classroom. I would like to have supplies and materials readily accessible to my students. The carpet will be used daily for morning routine, read-alouds and class lessons. They will each have a spot on the carpet which promotes a sense of belonging. The children will use the colorful bins, organizers and caddies to organize their books and writing supplies. The organization of my classroom will help my second graders follow all routines and promote independence. At the same time it will be a warm and inviting environment for all.
