Welcome to my page! I am an English teacher and softball coach at Maloney High School and been teaching there for almost 10 years. My goal as an educator is to challenge, inspire, and motivate my students to think for themselves, communicate effectively, and strive to go above and beyond what they think they are capable of. Education should explore ideas, maintain beliefs, and develop values while students learn to think for themselves and further their knowledge. As a teacher, it is also about always being there for your students, and guiding them in the right direction. It's about pushing them to be their best and to never give up no matter how challenging it gets. It's about providing confidence and support while allowing them to build their own self-esteem, improve upon their skills, as well as attain new skills, and grow as individuals both in and out of the classroom.
