I teach in an eighth grade math and science classroom. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Eighth grade is when students are introduced to physics and chemistry concepts in science and pre-Algebra concepts in math. My classroom is an inclusive and collaborative space for students to try new things and learn from their mistakes. Students have opportunitites to persue topics that interest them, while meeting standards and objectives set by the state and NGSS. Students also engage in personalized learning, so all students have the ability to achieve the standards set, while also remaining engaged in the content.

About my class
