My classroom vision is to give my students every opportunity to succeed. I work at a Title 1 School where 100% of the students receive free and reduced breakfast and lunch, and those students who stay for the after school program also receive free dinner. Many of these students spend the majority of their day at school. This means that I need to do everything I can to provide them with a rich and engaging environment where they will be inspired to try new things, grow, and achieve academic success. Research has shown that movement enhances brain function-so in order to foster creativity and to keep my students actively engaged I would like to provide them with alternative or flexible seating options. The Hokki stools and the Bilibo seats support learning, focus, and posture by allowing students to move while at their desk or when interacting with their peers. Please help inspire my students to Love Learning by donating today!
