Pre-K is VERY hands-on! We create art on a daily basis...painting, cutting, gluing, etc. We track dirt in from outdoor play. Children engage in an hour and 10 minutes daily of Free Choice Centers throughout the room. Science experiments and cooking experiences are a must in our classroom. We have classroom jobs that children choose each week. A few are as follows: greeter, first aid helper, trash carrier, table wiper, sweeper. Children are a part of the clean up process. We try to instill a sense of pride of belongings in our students! We are desperate for a new vacuum to clean our large area rugs!
