How can I run centers while social distancing in kindergarten? COVID-19 has left us with a lot of challenges in the classroom. The resources included in this project will provide my students with the opportunity to continue to learn how children learn best. Did you know that using hands-on activities is one of the BEST ways for children to learn?!? This project will provide all different types of learning materials to bring learning to LIFE! We will use pom poms, tweezers, play dough, clothespins, and more to explore literacy and math skills. These literacy and math centers will be individual center bins where students will have their own supplies that will prevent the spread of germs. My students will still be able to have hands-on learning opportunities and use their senses while learning. They will see, touch, and move real objects to complete tasks. This means that letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and more are brought to life! These individual learning centers will provide a safer way for my students to experience hands-on learning in our kindergarten classroom.
