This project is to give our classroom library a little bit of a makeover. Currently we have 5 bean bags, all of which are hanging together by the secure bond of duck tape. Students use these bean bags several ways, including read to self time, our whole group read alouds and to complete independent work throughout the day. Which is why it is time for some new ones. Our library has some books, but I want higher level books to challenge my young readers. With so many different students reading at all different levels in the classroom, it is hard to provide a library with a wide range of reading levels. The hopes for this project is that I could give my students the opportunity to read higher level books.
