Our students look forward to their Library Program each week. It is an important part of their language, reading, and technology learning. Each grade level of student, Kindergarten to 5th grade, has different learning goals and this is reflected in the different content, scope and sequence of their lessons. Donations for this project will help student understanding because students learn better when goals are posted in writing, reviewed, and referred to often during the lesson. This Moveable Whiteboard Easel will move the posted standards and goals to where students can see and use them wherever they are in the library. It will make it easy for students to see and interact with them, increasing student understanding and success. We will use dry erase whiteboard markers in different colors on the whiteboard for clarity. We will also hang Anchor charts from the magnetic chart pegs using chart paper and colorful markers for those subjects that repeat throughout the unit or year.
