Our students need a Wellness Center that provides a safe environment with comfy places to sit and relax to help them feel better when they are sick, feeling overwhelmed in the classroom, or to get support for working through tough situations. Our Students As the nurse, social worker, counselor and special education teacher we work with students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade with issues ranging from anger management, newcomers, divorce, anxiety and social skills. We also connect many of our families with resources in the area, such as utility assistance, outside counseling, food assistance, and transportation. We provide counseling programs in critical areas such academic, personal/social, and attendance. Our services and programs help students resolve emotional, social or behavioral problems, and help them develop a clearer focus or sense of direction.
