My goal is to provide all the educational support I can to my students as they may not otherwise receive it. Third grade is a big year for these students, as they take the Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) tests in Reading and Math. This project will provide support for students to help them get additional practice of skills that they need in life and that are present on the NeSA. Math in Minutes allows the students to work on 9 different math skills in a self-paced setting, with immediate feedback as the answers are provided on the back of the questions. Reading and Writing Literacy Activity Stations would provide opportunities for students to have fun while learning during reading centers on a daily basis. Both activities encourage learning, while incorporating team work and other basic skills social that the children lack.
