My classroom is very small and with covid we have difficulty accessing personal space other than using our desk. Students will be able to use the mats to give them another area in the room to complete assignments and they are easily cleaned with sanitizing wipes for the next student. Movement is very important to young children. It increases their awareness and allows for learning. The mats can even be used when we are learning outside. Also I have 3 students who have special needs and very difficult to stay in one place for a long period of time. My students will be so appreciative to know they won't have to sit in their chair all day with the donation of these mats.
