My students need to develop a love of reading. Studies show that the more a child reads the more they learn. I want my students to have books that cover a wide variety of interests. Many of the books I want to purchase come in series. My hope is that students get "hooked" on reading. Purchasing books that cover a variety of interests will allow ALL my students to find something they LOVE, that is why I've included so many series here. Reading can open up so many doors for them!
