This carpet will provide a comfortable and inviting place for my students to read while participating in Daily 5. This carpet can foster a love of reading by having them choose their own books to read and encourage them to read at their pace and levels. This carpet will also provide a place where I can meet with my students so that we can start the day off with morning meetings, read alouds, and mini lessons. I also feel that a carpet is important because it gives the student a place that they know they can always go to read.
