Enrichment opportunities for our students are few and far between. Most local clubs and sports have fees that our families cannot afford. By providing students with soprano recorders we will offer musical enrichment. Through Music, students will learn about responsibility, teamwork, organization, perseverance, and beauty. We will meet in regular classes to practice and work together. Students who own their own instrument may also practice at home. They will learn classic music literature, folk music and create their own improvisations in our Jazz lessons. Performance in annual concerts will be exciting. By starting with grade 3 students, the enrichment can continue through the grade 4 and 5 school years.
