My students learn in different ways. A huge component of our learning comes in the form of visualization. Students strive to "make a movie" in their heads as they listen and read. In addition, we watch "Anchor Videos" that help introduce us to a topic, and lend to activating background knowledge on certain subjects. Speakers that amplify sound are vital to our classroom. Without these, the struggling readers become struggling hearers! These students learn better when they are engaging multiple senses; hearing and sight are critical when trying to make connections to material being presented. Speakers will help us immensely!
