Many of my five and six year olds like to move, play, sit, stand, and lay while they learn or read. They prefer the floor with a clipboard, a rocker seat, or even a lap desk somewhere on the ground. The options are endless when it comes to being flexible while learning, but the options are currently limited in our classroom. Students deserve and need to feel comfortable and flexible when learning all day! I would love to provide the needs of my students when it comes to their best learning especially as their first year in our school; setting them up for success for this year and the years ahead.
