I am a new chemistry teacher and next school year I will have my own classroom! The donations for this project will allow me the opportunity to create a rich and consistent culture within my classroom. It will also allow my kids to "do science." All students learn different, thus science will be fun, enjoyable and exploratory for all learners. By being able to give my kiddos an interactive periodic table, classroom supplies and chemical safety equipment, they will have the opportunity to have the necessities to make their work easier and to make their time in the classroom more enjoyable! This project contains interactive periodic table. This periodic table is amazing. It will appeal to kinesthetic, auditory, and visual learners. It includes element name, symbol, atomic number, atomic mass, and an image of that element in use. Color coding orients students to element type and naturally occurring state of matter. I am also requesting chemical safety equipment: googles and aprons and classroom supplies. The classroom supplies include: classroom set of white boards and markers, rulers, markers and folders. The folders will keep students organized and the white boards will be use for in class check for understandings.
