I am the lower grade resource teacher at my school. I teach students in grades kindergarten to fourth grade. On average I have about 35 students who come to my class at different times during the day to receive specialized instruction in reading, writing, and math. I try to keep my groups small to ensure that my students are getting the attention that they need to help them be successful. Students in my class have a range of learning disabilities, attention issues, and/or behavior issues.
