My students have been using the same class set of scientific calculators for 9 years. They have been so "loved" and many of the calculators have not survived this past year. The majority of our students have learning challenges with IEP requirements of assisted technology and are also English language learners that benefit from these calculators. These calculators are a vital part of EVERY class to help the students succeed with our rigorous curriculum. The calculators are used every day for the majority to help solve higher level questions within math and pre-algebra. This will also help with those students who need differentiation for Algebra to help in college preparation courses which are both requirements for high school graduation within Indiana.
