The possibilities for learning through play on a light table are endless! With my focus being on math and science, a light table can also be used to enhance learning in literacy, writing, and social skills. The light table will be used as a tool for open-ended play experiences and will become a powerhouse for learning across the curriculum. Using the manipulatives, my students will have the opportunity to design, build and create on a whole new level. With the gentle glow of the light table, children will stay engaged for longer periods of time which in turn will help to stretch their growing attention spans. The light table and manipulatives that I am requesting will add a new dimension of learning for my young students. I am sure it will become a classroom favorite in no time! "Limitless Learning Through Light" will address the many learning styles and needs of my "Limitless" learners!!
