My students need an iPad with enough storage to video so that we can appropriately assess where they are with their goals. My stuttering caseload is continually growing and in order to properly assess and diagnose stuttering I need to be able to video my students talking. The iPad will also be used to treat and assess speech sound disorders by using the articulation station and vowel viz apps. With a growing caseload and teachers schedules getting more hectic, I find myself in various parts of the building providing speech therapy. An iPad would help facilitate quick, high quality speech therapy in the halls and on the go. My students need this iPad so that they can receive the best services I can provide so they can reach their goals and feel confident with their speech.
