The classes I teach are creative based Visual Arts Classes. Although they carry names such as "Drawing", "Photography" and "Animation", the real focus of my classes are far from simply making "Art". We incorporate all disciplines taught in school and address real world issues of society and culture. Students in my classroom develop lifelong skills including decision making, perseverance, and problem solving. This is achieved through a creative approach and practical application. Students are held accountable to their process of idea development and follow through. The addition of the Wacom Tablets in the school will allow the students the opportunity to create with technology that currently does not exist in our setting. This gives them the ability to stay current with the advancement of media and a more efficient way to reach their goals.
