We are a small school in a larger urban district. Our district is transitioning to a hands on phenomenon based science curriculum and I am asking for help suppling my classes with addiction equipment that will move out investigations from demonstrations to small group investigations. We are fortunate to have many of our consumable supplies provided, however we just do not have multiple tools to make the investigations available to small groups to enhance the learning experience. We try to provide a first hand experience for all our students as many of them enter our district from other countries and have families struggling not only with economic hardship but language and education gaps. Children learn so much more by doing and I want to be able to provide them with every possible opportunity to apply science.
