Access to technology in the classroom means big ideas for learning to become fully realized. Scholars will use the Chromebooks to help them stay abreast to current scientific research and discoveries by engaging with digital articles and journals, for dissecting current events (from presidential elections to changes in the weather) and be equipped with the necessary tools to comprehend complex word problems in high stakes state exams. Our classroom is not yet at the level technologically to meet our scholars needs as learners. Providing them with a class set of Chromebooks will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
