I teach high school health and I run a program for pregnant and parenting teens (GRADS). I do not have many students in my classroom but I make contact with every student (200) at my school to make sure that they have made the connections they need to transition out of school and into a post graduate life. They may be mentored, complete apprenticeships, or practice interviewing skills. My job is to educate and introduce our students to things outside of their comfort zone, to show them how much the world has to offer.
