My students are currently using research resources dating back to 10 to 20 years ago. They do not have the technological resources to complete student project based learning activities. We are currently sharing two 5 year old laptops within the classroom and many times I beg and borrow materials from other teachers and family members. By donating to our project, you will be providing my class with a set of new Chromebooks, and you will help to improve and increase student knowledge of the world around them, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and college readiness. Students will be able to become self-driven independent learners. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
