Each of my students has a book baggie they use to read every single day. Currently we have a limited amount of books at their reading level. These books will allow my students to have a greater variety of books to choose from for their book baggies. My goal is to help my students develop a love for reading, so they can engage with their books and become curious and avid readers. The stronger their reading skills are, the more they will learn from what they read and strive as they grow up and become the leaders I want them to be. I am asking for picture books, non-fiction books, and books on kindness. I think its important for my students to be exposed to different types of books and those on kindness will be especially helpful to build a kind culture in my classroom.
