My students need storage cart and bins to organize the reading area; and they need magnetic letters and stamps to improve their reading and writing skills. My wish is to create a nice work environment for the students to stay focused. The supplies I am requesting will be used on a daily basis. The cart and bins will keep our books organized and allow easy access for our young eager readers. They would be able to retrieve the books on their reading level, enjoy them, and return them for others to use. During our daily Readers' and Writers' workshops, students will explore how to read and spell words using the magnetic letters and stamps. These materials are essential to the phonics curriculum. It keeps learning fun and engaging! They can use the magnetic letters to create new words to sound out and practice their spelling. They will want to practice their phonetic skills. This will help them become better readers and writers. The plastic name tags would be used for the students during field trips so that guest speakers can personally call the children by their names. It would also be helpful for safety as it would include contact information if the child were to be separated from the group. The desk name tags along with the hello cards would make the students feel like they belong and have a place in the classroom. My goal is to provide a challenging academic program that gives our students the means to meet high standards in order to excel with the best ability. Your help is much appreciated!!
