At the elementary level, our school has found success using exercise balls instead of chairs. I know that students in the middle and high school would benefit from having more physical movement throughout the day, just as our elementary students have. The Kore Teen Active seats I am requesting will help those active students who need to wiggle do so comfortably, and burn some energy while learning. Our class periods are 76 minutes long and although we do many different things throughout the class period to keep it interesting, movement is limited in a small classroom. These seats will allow the students to have some more movement, without being distracting to their classmates.
