The LeapFrog Tag reading pens will give even struggling readers the ability to read exciting and fun self-selected books. It will make reading less intimidating for all readers. When they come to a word they don't know, they can use the pen to touch the word and it will read the word for them. Every student will be able to chose any book and read it! I believe all my students reading will improve with access to the leapfrog tag pens and the exciting books they can choose to read. My fluent readers will get to read more difficult content based books with new vocabulary support and my struggling reads can feel the freedom to choose any book, regardless of difficulty.
