My students need more freedom to choose how they learn in the classroom. They are bored with the usual teaching styles and desks. I'm requesting Wobble Chairs, yoga mats, Stability Balance Discs, and lap desks. Having these alternate seating options will help them be more engaged, increase attendance, and increase their scores because they become a lot more invested in their work. It is also a great outlet for those kiddos that just cannot sit still. Now they can learn without causing a distraction for others. I want my students to take responsibility for their learning and enjoy doing so as well. These flexible seating options will help them to do just that. They have to choose an option that best fits their needs, find a "smart seat" where they will do their best work, and work with other students to accomplish their goals. Please help me to reach this goal and give my students the best learning environment they can have!
