My school is an International Baccalaureate school that is committed to teaching our scholars to be knowledgeable about the world and its many cultures. We also want to inspire them to be inquirers, ask questions, and learn on their own. Our school year is divided up into six different units of inquiry. During each unit, scholars are given a project where they must research and create a product based on the knowledge that they have gained. The books that I have chosen would give them access to resources about the world and allow them to do their research. These books will allow my scholars to inquire about the world and learn about how they can be world changers! I have carefully chosen these books to go along with our units of inquiry and to help my scholars get a better idea about the world outside of their own community. I also want to create a love of reading in my class and to get books that will excite my scholars to read and learn.
