My students cover all walks of life. The use of technology only increases their chances of academic success. Not only do they have to overcome intellectual, emotional and behavioral issues, many of them are low social-economically. By providing them with technology to use in my room everyday, I can help that access the resources they need to level the playing field. Furthermore with the use of this technology, with my guidance, we can complete on line job applications and college applications to assist them in transitioning out of high school into either furthering their education or entering the work force. It is very important that while these young people are preparing to graduate from high school that they are exposed to all areas of life. Technology is a building block for each of these young people no matter what path they choose after they graduate.
