My students inspired this project because they need to be active during the school day. It can be a struggle to keep students' attention because they are more focused on finding different ways to move around. I have students who will stand beside their seats or will be twisting around in their seats. These wobble chairs will allow the students to wiggle in their seats while keeping their attention. Alternative seating is a fantastic way for my students to move and still be learning. The Kore Wobble Chairs have a sturdy seat but a base that wobbles which helps students use their core muscles while sitting. I have visited a classroom with the wobble chairs, and I was excited to see how well the students were able to move and learn at the same time. Alternative seating helps to make sure all students are reading to learn.
