Happy Day to you! I have been an urban educator for 13 years in a high poverty school district. I am excited to share some of my classroom happenings with you through Donors Choose. This year I am working in grades Kindergarten through third. I push into 3 different classrooms to work with students as a consultant. I also pull students from 4 different classrooms down to my room to work in small groups for resource. We cover different subject areas including English Language Arts and Mathematics. I work with students to meet Individual Education Plan goals through Special Education. I strive to incorporate engaging, high interest activities that promote learning through conversation, teamwork, hands on experiences and movement.
