These items will ensure students learning while easing anxiety from their old teacher leaving while I step in as her replacement. I want my new students to have items that allow them to feel more at home within the two blocks three-hour classroom instruction. This could include comfy reading spots as well as optional seating outside of the normal desk seating. The goal is for students to access an open floor plan classroom; For them to comfortably have open discussions during literature circle time. The lap Tables will be used for recording while responding during literature circle discussion. The Yoga mat would be used when students are partner reading and discussing nonfiction books. Bunjo Bungee Chair will be a classroom favorite and I am asking for two. The Bunjo Bungee Chair would be used for students who need a moment to for deep breathing relaxation. This is a useful tool for visiting students when having "time away" from other classrooms. Our current reading nook is very old and bulky. In order to free up space, the Leveled Library Mobile Storage Cart and the Book Bins will be a wonderful addition to the classroom. The mobility double as classroom dividers to ensure scholars focus as well as work completion. The colorful Classroom Supply Caddies will be utilized for community seating table supplies for the transitions between the two class periods. Giant Comfy Pillow is a durable classroom seating which is needed due to students ranging from 4 ft to 5'9 in height. TravelChair TravelBench Original 3-Seat Model will give students options for additional seating during reading aloud for readers workshop.
