A new, bright, and cheery carpet will not only brighten up our classroom, but will also give my students a clean place to work and learn. They will feel comfortable and energized by the vibrant new colors as they sit or lay on the carpet while they read independently and participate in word work for reading flex group time. My students will also enjoy using the new carpet during math group time as they gather on the carpet to practice their math facts. A new carpet would be so inviting for my students as they come to the carpet to watch math videos and sing math songs that assist them learning their daily math skills.
