The resources available for acquiring a foreign language when technology is available to students is AMAZING! In the past, I have written two separate grants to receive iPads for my Spanish classroom so that we could have a classroom set. We use these iPads for practice, projects, games, video interaction and more. They are invaluable and we have grown dependent upon them. iPads allow for me to differentiate learning for students at all levels, to provide support when necessary and to unlock challenges when appropriate. The iPads from my grants are reaching the end of their life expectancy. I already have five that no longer work and for my larger classes, there are now five students who do not have their own device. Since the devices were not purchased by the school, they will not replace them. Please help me to replace some of these iPads so that class as my students know it can continue. These iPads greatly contribute to their journey in language acquisition.
