My group of 23 delightful six year olds courageously battle socioeconomic issues at home, ranging from hunger to homelessness. Most of my class receives free or reduced lunch. School has become a sanctuary to many, where they feel safe to learn and grow. My class' favorite time of day is science/social studies time, but they crave science experiments!
