With this kidney table, my students will be able to sit together with me for small group instruction. I will be able to work with this group on a consistent basis to maximize their learning through guided reading, with emphasis on comprehension and writing. With the small group learning students will have the opportunity to have more one on one and small group discussions and learning attention with me verses large group discussions. Students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are in small comfortable groups where they can build self esteem.
