My students love to experience different kinds of technology, but unfortunately we do not have access to much in our classroom. With these two iPads, they will be able to download educational games and apps to promote literacy and math. There are apps that allow students to read books within their reading level and then take Accelerated Reader tests as soon as they finish. They can each log in to their own profile and set it to their own preferences so they can read books about things they're interested in. They can also use special apps designed to work on their basic math facts so that they can become better students all around. I believe that the iPads will create a new learning environment in my classroom. It has been proven that technology is an easy way to keep students engaged and motivated and having iPads will be a sure-fire way to help keep my students on task and learning!
