My students are 9 and 10 year olds with a desire to learn. They are very enthusiastic and energetic children who strive to be successful. Doing well in school and extra curricular activities is important to my students. They ask questions when they don't understand because not understanding is not an option. Our population is in an area where getting a good education is important to our parents. We are a middle to upper class school with good parent support. We have a variety of cultures represented in our school. We have a very low number of students on free and reduce lunches. A healthy lifestyle is important to our school population as well. Many students and families participate in dance, cheer, sports, races, and exercise programs.
