The students at my school come from all types of backgrounds. These students represent varying race, national origin, religion, and ability. We are a Title 1 school that has a very low economic status. In my class, there are students who are considered homeless, in foster care, from a single parent household, a blended family, or living with a relative because the parents are not in their lives. Despite all these differences and hardships, the students continue to amaze me with the excitement and positivity that they have for learning and I want to do everything I can to help them succeed!
