Our school has a very close, family like culture. Our administration and teachers really care about our students. Because we are an urban school, there are quite a few circumstances that seem to make things hard for our students to really grasp, thus making us seem out of touch with them and reality. As a school, we try to not only teach what is in the state standard, but what they need for life. We believe that "Excellence is a choice" and we choose on a daily bases to be excellent in all that we do and how we respond to education. It is important for us to grow. Our students know their teachers care about their well-being and their personal daily growth. We value the education as well as one another. Our students have high expectations of us and we of them. Both groups do a great job of not letting the other group down.
