We've all seen pictures of the moon, Saturn, different galaxies, and nebula in textbooks and on the Internet. But you really haven't seen these objects until you have seen them with your own eyes through a telescope. Imagine the amazement and joy a kid will have seeing Jupiter's Great Red Spot for the first time. Or imagine seeing the Andromeda galaxy with its billions of stars just like our galaxy and wondering what other worlds could be out there. With this telescope that will happen! You will provide students the opportunity to see the Universe with their own eyes, not just through pictures and videos. A telescope will provide my students with a learning experience they will never forget.
