My classroom serves 24 second graders who live within the West Contra Costa Unified School District. The majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch, and come from low socio-economic backgrounds. Additional financial classroom support from parents for classroom supplies is virtually non-existent, and as a public school, this type of support is not required. Nevertheless, I strive to provide my students with the learning experiences and they deserve to have. My students are our future!

About my class
