Moving and Grooving with Dash introduces second grade students, in an integrated classroom, to the exciting world of computer programming. It incorporates computer science as an interdisciplinary approach to learning mathematics with an emphasis on place value understanding and properties of the operations addition and subtraction. It engages the students to program Dash the Robot, thereby strengthening mathematical skills such as computational thinking, collaboration, and problem solving.
