Everyone has a bad day. Now imagine if you didn't have the tools to help make you feel better? Many children do not have the tools or strategies to help regulate these emotions which has an impact on their social, emotional, and academic success. When kids do not have tools such as Theraputty, a swing, Kinetic Sand, fidgets, or calming timers, they can act out physically and emotionally. These dysregulated episodes don't allow them to complete their work, form friendships, and have a negative impact on their self-esteem. These tools will be available to all children sending the message that all feelings are okay, but it's important to recognize them and use a strategy to feel better. When children are emotionally stable, they are available to learn.
